Rexroth IndraDrive Mi is a milestone in drive engineering, combining control electronics and servo motor in one ultra compact unit. It is an ideal solution for applications such as assembly and handling operations, where versatility and cost efficiency are key design criteria, and space is limited.
The servo motor casing acts as a heat sink for the compact control electronics of the IndraDrive Mi. This reduces overall size by more than 50% compared to conventional servo solutions and up to 30% compared to other integrated solutions. Wiring between drive amplifier and motor is eliminated along with related problems and troubleshooting. A compact interface unit connects up to 20 IndraDrive systems via a single daisy chained cable. This connectivity offers flexible designs using one or more interface modules and simultaneously reducing wiring to an absolute minimum. The IndraDrive Mi offers key benefits in servo conveyor sorting of stackers and de-stackers, such as fast positioning with minimal wiring, for today's flexible stamping needs.
