A work surface that’s just a bit too low, a part that is just out of an employee’s reach, or poor lighting – these seemingly insignificant details can negatively impact the performance, safety, and motivation of employees. This then directly influences productivity and production costs. According to several experts, more products are lost due to the conditions described above than to actual ailments.

To help you achieve the highest performance, safety, and motivation of employees – and ultimately productivity – Rexroth has published a brochure on the ergonomics of workstations. Based on the seven principles of ergonomics, this brochure gives instructions on how to design workstations suited for every task.

The Manual Production Systems from Rexroth provide all the modules needed to design and arrange workstations ergonomically. Design your workstation height to provide your employees with an optimum working level. If the workpiece has been set on a device, for instance, you can adjust the workstation’s height accordingly.
