eLine Ball Rail Systems

With its new eLINE ball rail systems, complementing the familiar high-capacity ball rail systems range, Rexroth has developed a new series of products specifically to meet the needs of simple handling and positioning systems and light machinery. These inexpensive linear motion guides can be installed on relatively uneven mounting bases, thus enhancing the cost-saving effect.
The guide rails and runner blocks are made from a wrought aluminum alloy, while the ball tracks and balls are manufactured from hardened antifriction bearing steel. To offer customers enhanced corrosion resistance, the aluminum body is anodized.
The new eLINE ball rail systems will be available in sizes 15, 20 and 25, with one-piece rail lengths up to 2,000 mm, and with two runner block designs. The new product series mainly targets accuracy class N. For simpler applications, a new accuracy class E has been introduced.
eLINE prototypes will be available starting January 2005, serial products starting April 2005.
