Smooth transitions, individually and easily adjustable
The new RA regulates control commands so that the vehicle changes its movement and direction less jerkily and much more smoothly and gently.
This ensures considerably safer work for the user, when standing on an aerial work platform, for example. The four ramping functions, which enable smooth transitions even when abrupt signal changes are received, can be preset individually and easily.
Safety when cables break
Even in the event of a broken cable at the input, the response characteristic of the RA is clearly defined. With the corresponding installation the RA automatically brings the output signals into a safe operating state, thereby preventing damage to the machine. Moreover, a red fault diode warns the operator of the cable break.
Open for more input – mediator for two actuators
With just one device, you can actuate two proportional valves, for example. And the Rexroth RA analog amplifier is flexible for numerous circuitry variations.

Wire up – adjust – ready!
In a very short time, the vehicle builder can install the RA and configure it with a screwdriver via potentiometers on the top of the housing. This saves a great deal of time. What’s more, he has no need for configuration tools – as with digital control units, for example – neither does he require an electronics expert or programmer to set the potentiometers. This saves considerable costs.
