With the new Motion Control generation HNC100-3x® Rexroth expands the fields of application of the electrohydraulic NC control family HNC100. The scalable controller-format generation controls up to four electrohydraulic axes. Enhanced computing power reduces scan times significantly. The know-how saved in previous HNC programs can easily be transferred to the new generation, which features a multitude of new functionalities.
The new Rexroth HNC100-3x increase the degree of freedom for tailored automation solutions even further and complements the previous single- and 2-axis controllers HNC100-2x. In the compact variant for single-axis applications, the new Motion Control for electrohydraulic axes rounds off the control portfolio in the lower range and is provided with the standard interfaces SSI and Profibus DP. The pioneer in electrohydraulics reduced the constructive volume of this compact controller to 120 x 42 x 115 mm. In the upper range the modular HNC100-3x construction kit can be extended by numerous interfaces and for controlling 4 axes. With regard to the outer dimensions, merely the width of the control electronics varies. Thanks to its very compact design, the HNC100-3x for hat rail mounting saves space in the control cabinet.
The control electronics HNC100-3x is optimized to suit the specific physical characteristics of hydraulics with powerful hydraulic controller structures and NC commands tailored to meet hydraulic requirements. In this way, Rexroth largely separates drive physics and functionality. In addition, the functionality of the HNC100-3x includes synchronization of up to four axes, further improved curve functionalities as well as extended diagnostics options. The Motion Control is provided with digital and analog transducer interfaces. Up to eleven freely configurable digital inputs/outputs increase flexibility in the field of automation.
Apart from Profibus DP and CANopen the HNC100-3x for single-axis operation supports the standardized drive bus SERCOS interface. In this way, Rexroth supplements the consistent control concept IndraMotion, which can be finely scaled in terms of hardware and software, for interpolating electrical and hydraulic axes. The modular, innovative engineering environment IndraWorks offers the user all the software tools required for commissioning, parameterization, and diagnostics of electrical and hydraulic drives and controls from Rexroth with a standardized look & feel.
